Consultation or second opinion
Medication managementIf a patient is being seen for medication management only, the expectation is that she or he will already be engaged in therapy with another provider. Sessions are typically 25 minutes. *Please note: controlled substances such as benzodiazepines and stimulants will not be prescribed at the first visit. **I am accepting new clients for medication-only services only if their needs relate to reproductive psychiatry (related to pregnancy, loss, infertility, PMDD, menopause, etc) AND clients are established and regularly meeting with a therapist.
Caroline is a preferred provider with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bridgespan, and PacificSource. Other insurance providers may cover a portion of your visit but this is not true of all insurance companies. It is important that you first check with that provider regarding the percentage of reimbursement they provide. This varies from carrier to carrier and it is your responsibility to become informed about your carrier's rules and limitations.
Several sliding scale slots are offered and rates are based on federal poverty guidelines. However, these slots are currently full and openings are rare.
